things i have learned while being a nanny

underwear is meant to be worn on the outside-preferably as a hat
unless you watch, they wont brush their teeth
if you want to go out, you have to tell them that we're leaving at LEAST 15 minutes earlier than you actually need to
if they're being quiet (even during quiet time) they're up to something
ice cream is the best bribing tool, ever
